Special Edition:
Yooper Scout Scoop
Scouting At-Home Summary Edition + MORE
The Bay-Lakes Council has created a website full of activities your Scouts can do from home while we are all practicing social distancing. This website has activities for boys and girls grades k-12:
Please Share this site with all of your friends and parents at your Schools. Everyone is welcome to use this resource for their families to benefit from Scouting.

This has required adventures on the 30-day challenge for each Cub Scout Rank. This will help them do as much as they can to complete their badge at home. Parents, keep track and communicate with your Den Leaders and Cubmaster about what has been completed. A Scout is Trustworthy.
Also, consider virtual Den Meetings and Troop Meetings to stay connected during these times. Reach out to Patrick O'Brien, Hiawathaland District Director with any questions.

Early Bird Camp Fee Extended until May 15th

We are still planning to have camp this summer and if for some reason we don't full refunds will be given.
The Time is Now to Take Our Online Training's!
This is a great time for all Leaders to update their training on www.my.scouting.org.

Cub Scout Leaders: Click here for the list of online courses to take to be trained.

Scouts, BSA Troops: Click here for the list of Courses needed to be Trained.

Venturing Leaders Training Courses: Click here for the list.

We especially stress that ALL Den Leaders, Cubmasters, Scoutmasters and Crew Advisers complete their Training's. We firmly believe that a Trained Leader is more Confident, has more fun and the Scouts have more fun.

Now is also a Great time to re-take Youth Protection Training, so you are good for two more years!
District Leader Appreciation Dinner--Postponed again...

Right now, this might be fully Cancelled. Our Plan then is to award the District Awards of Merit and a Silver Beaver during Summer Camp this summer. Full refunds will be given fro those whop already paid.
Scouting for Food

This is postponed for now. We are planning to re-schedule it. When it is, it will be an ALL-HANDS on deck effort to help fill our local food pantries after this virus. They will need us more than ever and we can be a huge help to them.

Who plans to participate when its rescheduled? E-mail Patrick
